A comprehensive performance assessment for ambitious powerlifters striving to identify individual strengths, limitations and performance potential through biomechanical lift analysis, force diagnostics, load-velocity profiling and powerlifting-specific needs analysis.
Powerlifting Performance Analysis is designed for lifters who want more than general feedback on their squat, bench press and deadlift. The aim is to create a detailed picture of your individual performance profile by combining objective testing methods with sport science expertise.
The assessment focuses on the key factors that influence powerlifting performance: technical execution, force production, individual anthropometrics, body composition-related markers, load-velocity characteristics, left-right asymmetries and the strength of key muscle groups. This allows us to move beyond simply asking whether a lift looks “good” or “bad” and instead identify what may be limiting performance, what is already supporting it, and where the greatest development potential may lie.
A central part of this service is a powerlifting-specific needs analysis. The squat, bench press and deadlift are not assessed in isolation from the athlete performing them. Your structure, leverages, movement strategy, force production profile, training history and competitive goals all influence which technical and physical priorities matter most. Different layers of information are brought together to understand how you express strength in the competition lifts and how your training can be directed more effectively.
The analysis may include anthropometric profiling, BIA-based body composition monitoring, individual load-velocity profiling for the squat, bench press and deadlift using the OVR Performance Velocity Tracker, biomechanical technique analysis of all three competition lifts, force plate diagnostics with the Meloq Easy Base force platform, force plate asymmetry analysis, and targeted strength assessment of key powerlifting-relevant muscle groups, including the quadriceps, hamstrings, glutes, triceps and chest.
The goal is not simply to collect data. The goal is to translate the findings into clear, practical training decisions. After the assessment, you receive feedback on your current performance profile, key findings, relevant limitations, development priorities and recommendations for your training.
This service is best suited to competitive or ambitious powerlifters who want a deeper understanding of their performance, lifters preparing for a competition block, athletes returning from a plateau, or lifters who feel that technical, physical or structural factors may be limiting progress.
